40) I have NO IDEA, but the mental images this question conjures up are inadvertently hilarious.
41) I think this is meant to be Mistress Ford in Merry Wives, although the Witch of Brainford is actually her maid's aunt, not her mother.
42) Juliet's wedding with Paris is originally scheduled for Thursday, and then bumped up to Wednesday, so I think she takes the potion on Tuesday night / early Wednesday morning. It's supposed to last 42 hours, so she would wake on Thursday. I can't find anything that suggests a specific time, though, other than that it's night.
43) No idea.
44) "'Twas merry when / You wager'd on your angling; when your diver / Did hang a salt-fish on his hook, which he / With fervency drew up."
45) Timon.
46) My best guess on this one is Caliban, when Trinculo first stumbles upon him, but I'm not at all sure.
47) I think Edgar from King Lear might be the right answer for both of these, although I was under the impression that the accent he puts on is meant to be Somerset, not Staffordshire.
48) Bardolph, although it's a pax, not a crucifix.
49) Bottom, of course!
