'Cos it looked like fun when Fie did it:
I'll feeze you, in faith.
I learn in this letter that Don Pedro of Aragon comes this night to Messina.
If music be the food of love, play on.
In sooth, I know not why I am so sad.
So shaken as we are, so wan with care
Open your ears, for which of you will stop
O for a muse of fire, that would ascend
Sir Hugh, persuade me not. I will make a Star Chamber matter of it.

I had to look up the first and the last quote, shame-faced. :) That's great that you taught 1H4, 2H4, H5, and Merry Wives. My students seem to love the Henriad. It's great when they get into the plays so much. Sounds like a fun semester.
Yeah, I pretty much always teach all four of them in that order in the Early Shakespeare class. They build on each other in such interesting ways! There was one semester when I dropped MWW, but I found that I really missed it. And once I tried a Roman sequence instead (Errors, Titus, Lucrece, Caesar), which I would like to do again sometime, but with all the new videos from the Globe it was hard to resist getting all Falstaff-heavy this time.
