A couple of images, probably of no interest whatsoever to anyone except myself.

i think they are both lovely shots! i like your chair. one thing i want to do when i move, after i get my first paycheck, is to buy a nice reading chair. i think i may even splurge a little. not that i can afford to splurge, but i will anyway.
Heh, I got the chair for free from a guy I dated briefly in grad school. Now that I think of it, about half of my living-room furniture was acquired in the same way (not all of it from the same person!)
I may not be good at dating people who actually stick around, but I sure do pick ones with nice furniture...
On the contrary, Undine, my work ethic is so lousy that I can only bring myself to write when I'm sitting in the comfy chair. But it's nice of you to think otherwise...
Heya. I teach Shakespeare, British lit, and some other stuff. I am an associate professor at a small public university in the South, here known as Misnomer U; I spent a year in a visiting position at a private liberal-arts college that I call New SLAC. I hold degrees from the Beloved Alma Mater (undergrad) and the University of Basketball (grad). This blog contains teaching anecdotes, occasional posts about whatever I'm reading, and random thoughts.

Nice pictures. If I sat in the reading chair, I'd be asleep in seconds, so I admire your work ethic.

That chair needs a cat on it.
And if you'd like any spare cats, I've got a couple ...
Only if you plan to take them back again, Sisyphus. I'm firmly in the "animals are only cute if they belong to other people" camp.
